It was a pleasure for DEMOKRITOS Innovation to participate in the 2nd Annual Conference of the National Network of Technology Transfer Offices – METEX, held in Thessaloniki on 21–22 November 2025.

On Saturday, 22 November, Sofia Magkia, Head of the Innovation Department, delivered a talk on
“Proof-of-Concept: Experience, Challenges, Prospects and Best Practices,”
drawing from our Science Agora, Innovation To Society hands-on experience in supporting research teams and advancing technologies toward market readiness.

On Sunday, 23 November, the full team attended the session “Empowering Innovation in Academia: The Strategic Value of Intellectual Assets” at the Aristotle University Research Dissemination Center (KEDEA), deepening our understanding of effective management and dissemination of academic intellectual assets.
