SCIENCE AGORA

The SCIENCE AGORA Technology Transfer Hub is a collaborative network designed to enhance technology transfer among the largest research and academic institutions based in Athens. This partnership includes five leading institutions: NCSR Demokritos, ACEin - Athens University of Economics and Business Entrepreneurship Center, National Technical University of Athens, ATHENA Research Center, and the Research University Institute of Communication & Computer Systems. The aim is to mutually strengthen technology transfer activities and business acceleration within these entities. SCIENCE AGORA bridges the gap between research and science and the real economy and entrepreneurial ecosystem. It provides support for intellectual property management, skills development, business acceleration services, networking, and financing opportunities. Through its comprehensive services, SCIENCE AGORA serves a wide range of beneficiaries, including the academic and research community, business teams and startups, companies in Greece and abroad, as well as investors, venture capitalists, and business angels.

Smart Attica European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH)

Smart Attica European Digital Innovation Hub (EDIH) is the first EDIH for Artificial Intelligence in Greece and operates in 3 critical business sectors of the Greek economy: Energy & Environment, Supply chain & Mobility, Culture & Tourism. It focuses on the digital transformation of SMEs and public sector organizations and aims to advance their digital maturity. The EDIH offers 4 types of innovation services in the following categories: test-before-invest, innovation ecosystem and networking opportunities, skills and training, and support to find investment. Services are built on the Hub's expertise in AI, supported by the HPC & Cybersecurity partnership's know-how. Smart Attica provides the appropriate framework and expert guidance to organizations, allowing them to apply new tools and innovative business models.

European Digital Innovation Hub for Smart Health

The European Digital Innovation Hub for Smart Health: Precision Medicine and Innovative E-health Services (smartHEALTH) is a one-stop-shop where SMEs, startups, mid-caps, and the public sector can get help to improve business & production processes and products & services by means of digital technology. The hub offers highly specialized expertise in the flagship areas of precision medicine, cancer and medical image analysis. smartHEALTH brings together all the main R&I leaders of the Greek ecosystem to facilitate the digital transformation of the private and public sector.

NATO DIANA

Since 2023, NCSR Demokritos has been an integral part of the NATO DIANA (Defense Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic) network. This prestigious collaboration brings together start-ups, operational end users, scientists, and systems integrators to advance cutting-edge technologies with dual-use applications. Through DIANA’s accelerator programs and state-of-the-art test centers, NCSR Demokritos provides start-ups with essential resources and support to innovate in fields such as Data & AI, Autonomy, Quantum Technologies, Space Technologies, Biotechnology, Novel Materials and Manufacturing, Energy, and Sensors.As a member of the DIANA network, NCSR Demokritos is committed to driving technological advancements that benefit both civilian and military sectors. GIGA CAMPUS

NCSR "Demokritos" in collaboration with Vodafone established the Giga Campus. It's an innovation hub operating through an ecosystem of Internet of Things applications, supported by the Vodafone 5G Giga Network. They aim to evolve the most cutting-edge technologies of “Vodafone Business”, in order to be tested, developed, and shaped into comprehensive and effective digital solutions, with the aim of being able to be disseminated to Greek businesses.
