Last week, we had the privilege of attending the Athens Innovation Summit 2025 by Endeavor Greece, where global leaders, visionaries, and changemakers gathered in the birthplace of democracy, the Odeon of #Herodes Atticus, in #Athens, to shape the conversations of tomorrow in #innovation and #technology.

For us at DEMOKRITOS Innovation, this was a powerful reminder that never before has the responsibility been so great to bring the ethical dimension of innovation and technology to the forefront.

A rare and timely dialogue between Demis Hassabis (Co-founder & CEO of Google DeepMind; Nobel Laureate), Kyriakos Mitsotakis (Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic), and Linda Rottenberg (Co-founder & CEO of Endeavor), who brilliantly moderated, explored how we can ensure AI remains human-centered and how Greece can contribute to safeguarding democratic values in the digital age.

As Linda Rottenberg so powerfully stated: “We are experiencing a dramatic moment – the rise of AI – and the challenge is to get this moment right.”
