We are delighted to have been participated in Innovation Greece 7.0, the 7th edition of one of Greece’s leading innovation conferences, organised by NBG Business Seeds of the National Bank of Greece.
This year’s theme, “Reimagining the Future”, invited us to collectively reflect on what lies ahead through dialogue, technology, and bold ideas.

On behalf of the Innovation Department of NCSR “DEMOKRITOS”​, Varvara Vasilaki, Site Lead of the Innovation Accelerator@Demokritos, moderated the discussion “From Cyberspace to the Battlefield”, contributing insights on innovation at the intersection of security, defence, and emerging technologies. Giorgos Xylouris, Head of Network Centre, Researcher at NCSR “DEMOKRITOS”​, joined Varvara at the panel.

Athanasios Stubos, Director of Research, INRASTES, Demokritos and National Representative of Greece to the EU on Hydrogen Technologies, will speak at “Reimagining the Future”.

Αlso, from our Lefkippos Attica Technology Park, Vasilis Stenos, CEO of Solmeyea, spoke in the session “The Future of Food”. During Pitching Event: Make the World a Better Place, selected companies showcased their innovative solutions aimed at creating a positive impact. We are excited to have seen innovmater, highlighting the talent and creativity nurtured within our ecosystem. Taking the stage for the pitch were Ioannis Karatasios, Co-Founder & CEO, and Eirini Tziviloglou, Co-Founder.

Innovation Greece 7.0 was a highly interactive event, featuring live demonstrations of mature technological products, dynamic panel discussions with distinguished speakers, and the inspiring “Crazy Ideas, Brilliant Scientists” session — offering a glimpse into what life may look like in the next decade.
The conference was co-organised by leading innovation stakeholders, including NCSR “DEMOKRITOS”​, in collaboration with Panathēnea and Endeavor Greece.
